Let me apologize for not getting out a proper Newsletter last week. It was one of those weeks where the to-do list was longer than it ever should be. In order to get poultry to the processor safely and with less stress, we haul at night. Usually leaving at 4 a.m. Last week we had double the trips because chickens were due at the processor on Monday morning (4a.m. departure), and Turkeys had an appointment on Tuesday morning (another 4 a.m. departure). Despite the ridiculous hours, all the animals arrived safely, and we have lots of Chicken and Turkey that will show up on the website later this week.
