As I looked through pictures seeking inspiration for this section of the newsletter, I observed: completed projects, memories made, obstacles overcame, family bonding, fun times, hard work, success, struggle, family and friends that have passed away, and new births in our little circle of influence. It's always this time of year that I get reflective and introspective. This picture struck me as a good one for thanksgiving week. At the most fundamental level, we can be thankful for another day. It's another day God has given us to do with what we wish. We have the power to make it impactful, joyful, prosperous, fulfilling, uplifting, and encouraging. I won't dwell on the other option we have which is to fill our days with negativity and divisiveness. Embrace your ability to be a positive influence, either on an individual or a particular circumstance. There's something about a sunrise that emphasizes our mortality, and the finite number of our days. Get up early and watch the sunrise, then go make you positive mark on the day.
