Many of you already use our FarmFan text message reminders. If you do not, let me explain. Sign up for Farmfan and you can choose to receive a text message reminder. You can get a reminder to order early in the week, and you can get a reminder to pick-up for your specific mobile market pick-up location. We know life is busy, and we want to make sure you don't miss out on your farm fresh goodies each week. The reminders have gotten rave reviews, but now there will be another advantage.
Starting this week we will begin using the FarmFan system as a loyalty program. There will be a codeword posted in the mobile market trailer. You will just need to text that codeword back to our FarmFan text line to earn a point. Once you have accumulated several points you will be able to redeem them for rewards. To start with we have our Carlton Farms grocery bags, Insulated Bags, and T-shirts listed as rewards, but I would like to get more creative with the rewards. I can envision everything from discounts and corn maze tickets to tractor driving lessons and the opportunity to milk a cow.
