Once again, pray for my friend Greg

Many of you have read those words in this space before. Unfortunately, my friend Greg is still suffering from the aftermath of COVID-19. He is able to get up and walk around, but the medical team at Emory hasn't been able to wean him off of the machines that help him breathe (ECMO and Vent). His lungs are so damaged that they just can't clear the carbon dioxide by themselves. This family covets your prayers especially today because a drastic decision has been made. Later today they will be transporting Greg to the University of Florida in anticipation of a lung transplant that will hopefully take place in the next couple of days. He has been in this fight since early October. We are all hoping this effort will give him the ability to live his life as close to normal as possible. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers I know yall will send his way.

For those of you that may be new, and missed this story in earlier episodes, Greg is a fellow Dairy Farmer. He runs the only other dairy in our county, and I count him as a great friend. He is a loving husband with 2 daughters. He is honest, generous, and kind. He is just one of the best dudes you could ever meet. It breaks my heart to think about what he and his family have been through.
