This morning our little family launched into a new life chapter... We elected to home-school our children this year, and today was the first day of school. We wanted the kids to have a consistent and routine structure for their education this year. Through no fault of their own, the school systems will likely not be able to provide the consistency we wanted, so we took the plunge. Honestly, we have talked about home-schooling in the past. It was just never the right move for us. Now, we think it is. There is a lot to learn, for both us parents and the kids. Here's to a great school year.
Also, because I know some of y'all are well versed in home-school and will be asking. We are using the Abeka Curriculum and the Abeka online Academy.
