Calving Season

I have been patiently awaiting calves out of our young South Poll bull. This is the first one, and it didn't disappoint. The 21 cows in this herd are all coming with their third calf. Hopefully, they will all be beautiful and red like this little guy. Momma is taking care of him by bedding him down in a patch of dry hay during this cold snap. We should have several more hitting the ground soon.
