Which One of These is Not Like the Other?

A few weeks ago one of our laying hens hitchhiked aboard the feed truck when we went to feed the turkeys. She decided to disembark at the turkey pasture. We were unable to catch her that day, so we went on with our chores. She wasn't seen for a few days. It was assumed she had succumbed to some creature higher up on the food chain. (cue the Lion King music "🎼circle of life🎶 ") However, in a surprise and happy finding, she has been discovered alive and well. At this point, it is unclear if she identifies as a turkey, or has simply settled into a minority position among her taller, plumper, yet equally feathered flockmates. Either way, she seems content and the turkeys seem to have accepted her gracefully. I think we'll just let her stay there for a while.
