This past week we reached the end of an era. If you have ordered from us in the last 8 years, there is a near certainty that Sharon had a hand in making sure you got what was ordered. Eight Years ago I was still driving the big enclosed trailer, and we had yet to do a single home delivery. Sharon walked into a part-time job preparing orders and resetting the trailer for the next day's delivery. Neither of us knew the amount of growth and change that would occur in the upcoming years, but Sharon was there for it all. She's the kind of person that does more than is expected and meets every challenge head on. For eight years I have had a sense of comfort knowing that as I am out tending to the farm, there was someone in charge of the warehouse that could handle the complexities of that job. The hard work and dedication Sharon has given, I truly appreciate. However, that's not even the best part. Sharon has become a great friend. She has been unbelievably kind to my children, never forgetting a birthday, often bringing treats, and always showing authentic interest in their lives. Sharon has become great friends with Julie, Julie's sister Andrea, and basically our entire family. To know her, truly is, to love her. As this new chapter begins we are praying for joy and happiness to fill Sharon's retirement, and that we will be able to fill her shoes in the warehouse. We will be trying our best, but if we make a mistake, please remember...... Sharon has left the building.
