With a few employees on vacation as I write this, I can say that it will likely be next week before we are able to get this next batch of broiler chickens processed. By looking at the picture you can tell it won't be a day too soon. Right now this looks like one of the best batches of broilers I've ever raised. These birds are big and healthy and beautiful. They are a breed that is directly related to the Poulet Rouge chickens from france. They do extremely well on pasture. I think I have found the breed of broilers that we will raise going forward. Of course I will withhold final judgement until I see them with their feathers off.
